Check-in was a breeze and the room was spotless! The setup was perfect with a separate bedroom area—everyone could watch their shows in peace. Plus, the indoor heated pool was just the cherry on top for some fun in the water!

Fresh, clean rooms with a pleasant lemon scent in the hallways. Staff were exceptionally friendly, always greeting you, making it feel warm and welcoming. The pet-friendly room had a comfortable bed, and the shower pressure was perfect. the pool was closed, and it felt like a letdown since amenities should be operational. A bit disappointing was the microwave that didn’t work and the ice machine too. My sleep was marred by stained sheets and a lingering musty smell in the room. I wanted to love it, but some basics really need attention for a better experience.

Location's pretty convenient, and the beds were super comfy. The staff at the front desk were nice too. the air conditioning didn’t work well and there was no hot breakfast like advertised. Had a weird pet odor in the room, which wasn't great. Would expect better for the price we paid.

I was really disappointed with the cleanliness. There was a half-eaten cookie on the lobby floor for two days! It made the whole place feel unkempt. Attention to detail seems lacking, which is frustrating when you expect a tidy stay.

The bed was comfortable, but the mattress had a plastic cover that made it quite warm. The room itself was semi-clean, though there was a persistent noise from the trash truck at 5 am. The toilet seat was loose, causing discomfort each time I used it, and despite notifying the staff, it remained unfixed. The pool was closed during my stay, which was disappointing. noise from the room above was disruptive, particularly from children running and jumping early in the morning. The check-in process was smooth but marred by initial confusion regarding pet policy.

Comfortable beds, clean rooms with spacious layouts that made our stay enjoyable with great breakfast options and a delightful indoor pool to relax in after a day of exploring.

I marveled at old firefighting gear. Toured a fancy old house. Ate and drank at the Mills. Chased balls, hit balls. Shopped like a pro. Worked in style with free Wi-Fi. Drank coffee in bed; free brekkie was a hit!
Hauling bags up stairs was such a delightful workout.

The King Suite is a solid choice. The bedroom door adds privacy, and having two televisions is a thoughtful touch. The delicious continental breakfast is a definite plus—convenient and economical. The hotel smells clean overall. during my stay, I encountered a musky odor in the room, which detracted from the experience. the check-in process was frustrating. I was initially told I could bring my three dogs, only to be challenged later. Clearer communication is crucial. Despite this, the staff was friendly, and our needs were otherwise met. With some improvements, particularly regarding communication and room freshness, this hotel could be excellent. Would consider returning, given the right circumstances.

I recently stayed at a comfortable hotel in Rocky Mount that was just 4 kilometers from Sunset Park and City Lake Park which were perfect for a peaceful stroll and enjoying nature plus it was also close to the Rocky Mount Children's Museum and Science Center which made it a great spot for families looking to explore and have some fun together while the rooms were spacious and clean with friendly staff that made us feel welcomed but the breakfast options could certainly benefit from a bit more variety.

The continental breakfast is a tasty treat that saves you money. The King Suite has a separate bedroom door and not one but two TVs for endless entertainment.
The cleaning was subpar with some stains on the carpet and a condiment spill on the bathroom floor.

The bathroom tile was clean, at least more than the rest of the room. The suite was decent and could have been cleaner. The location was convenient for my family visit.
The room reeked of bug spray, and we encountered roaches. The microwave and ice machine didn't work, and we were unable to switch rooms.

My friends and I had a blast exploring the hands-on museum and gazing at the stars in the planetarium. We also had a great time walking the historical trail and checking out Stonewall Manor. The hotel staff was super cool and the pet area was a bonus!
I wish there was a better party scene for young people near the hotel.

Our kids loved walking with dinosaurs, playing games, and stargazing in the planetarium. It was an interactive and educational experience for all ages.

The heating and air conditioning worked well, keeping the room at a comfortable temperature throughout my stay. The staff at this hotel were exceptional, always friendly and attentive. The rooms were spotless and the beds made up beautifully, reminiscent of luxury European hotels. The hotel treated all guests as first class, making us feel special. The breakfast was delicious and the hot showers were a treat. The staff also provided helpful information without being asked, making our stay more comfortable.
The hotel heavily relied on QR codes for information, which was problematic for older travelers without smartphones. When asked for a printed version, none was available.

we had a wonderful stay at Country Inn. tori greeted us with a huge smile and was so sweet when we arrived. she provided helpful information about parking, breakfast, and dining options. the room was comfortable and we slept very well. the breakfast in the morning was well put together and the staff was friendly and in good moods. overall, it was a great experience.

The hotel had a marvelous staff, a cozy front porch, and a lobby with a fireplace. They also offered a free cookie and coffee station all day, great breakfast options, and a spacious, clean room with comfortable beds and good WiFi.
Felt really welcomed, no reason to complain.

the hotel was super clean, and the location was convenient off Rt.95. the bed was incredibly comfy, and the hot breakfast was a real treat - with eggs - bacon, and even a waffle maker. the staff were friendly and made check-in easy.
Totally recommend.
